The Trangia range is safety-tested by the German TÜV (Technischer Überwaschungsverein). This covers the stoves’ safety regarding handle temperatures and sharp edges, for example. Trangia Stoves meet all TÜV’s requirements for leisure stoves. There are also regular spot tests.
Trangia's environmental thinking is self-evident to those who live close to nature. Manufacturing is environmentally optimised. Process water used during surface treatment undergoes total purification before leaving the factory. Trangia's packaging is manufactured from environmentally approved cardboard and is 100% recyclable. The cardboard is included in the German ”Der Grüne Punkt” system.
